Model Parliament would not be possible without its Planning Committee Members who put in countless hours of work. Their dedication and passion for the event drive them to provide participants with this unique and inspirational event year after year. Ryan Chang

Director of MPSP & Governor General of Canada

Ryan Chang (he/him) leads the committee as Governor General of Canada for MPSP 2026. He is a sixth-year student in Political Science with a minor in Asian Studies, and his favourite book is Yertle the Turtle.

He is the current MP for Mississauga East–Cooksville.
